In addition, it’s not a “do-right-away” approach when it comes to chiropractic adjustments. If it’s included in your treatment plan, then it must be because your evaluation results show you need it.

If you are complaining of typical body pain, like those caused by heavy activity, car accident injury, muscle tension due to poor posture, or improper sitting for hours, you will not need to get X-rays. This means that you can get started with a chiropractic treatment with us even without having taken an X-ray test.

In some instances, we recommend X-rays to our patients, particularly when imaging is needed to assess the condition. Example scenarios would be when we need to check if there is a bone fracture, inflammation in the joints, or if we need to confirm the presence of other more serious conditions.

On your first visit, expect us to let you undergo our evaluation process. This helps us understand your current health status and review your previous health conditions.  If we are able to get all the necessary test results on day one and if we see that it’s both safe and appropriate, you may be recommended for an adjustment session.

However, this is not always the case. More commonly, we schedule adjustment sessions days following your initial visit at our clinic.

Headache, soreness, and stiffness are normal body responses to chiropractic treatments that you can expect after an adjustment. However, you must not worry about experiencing these reactions because they are mild and short-lasting. These and more symptoms usually disappear after one or two days.

Your rehabilitation program or treatment plan is designed to suit your body’s pacing. Hence, your schedules are set for the purpose of achieving progress each time. Even if your body begins to feel better or relieved from pain, it does not give you the signal to stop attending your sessions. We highly recommend completing your chiropractic care.
